Cryptocurrency and the Value of Stable Coins (w/ Raoul Pal & Dan Morehead)

Dan Morehead of Pantera Capital describes to Real Vision CEO, Raoul Pal, how many people’s criticism of cryptocurrency as yet another currency people don’t need falls flat in the face of there being multiple currencies that already exist–and not all being good currencies. Morehead then explains the value of stable coins as they’re borderless, and transactions are almost instantaneous.

  • US Federal Reserve debt note is not MONEY. MONEY is only gold, minted at the US Treasury. Debt notes are faith based. Gold eagles are not faith based and based on a legal definition of money. US Federal Reserve debt notes AND crypto are faith based score keepers. The difference between one dollar and one billion dollars in Fed debt notes is just nine key strokes. That is faith based currency. Money requires NO FAITH for gold, which is real money. Don't confuse the reflection in the mirror for the reality standing in front of the mirror.
