  1. I’ve been giving this a lot of thought. And the more I think about it the more product reviews I come up with! The obvious ones are the hand-drums and ukuleles we love the most that we carry in our music store. And we can make recommendations for the beginner introductory level student all the way to the professional. I published a video last month on how to buy a tambourine in the Layne Redmond style of playing. I didn’t focus on any one type, just demonstrated, talked about and shared several from my personal collection, and their pros and cons. But now I think I can review more specific ones so that the students I’m attracting around the world on my YouTube channel, will have a direct link to buying one, and a link that I can benefit from. Then this morning it occurred to me that I could also review and have a link to Layne Redmond‘s book, “When the Drummers ‘s were Women: a spiritual history of rhythm“! Not only was she my teacher who I followed for 20 years, but I am also mentioned with a photo of me drumming with children, in the book! And this book and Layne’s work inspired a lifelong career for me as well as my husband! I’m starting a list now of products I can review and link to from my videos. Of course I need to do the legwork to reach out to these sellers, but thanks to you, I have an understanding as to how to do that! I originally thought that I would simply link to my own music store for these products LOL but we’re not set up for that much warehousing and shipping. Besides, that would’ve been double dipping… thank you for this prompt, you always inspire! 😊🙏❤️

  2. I think doing vs videos for product reviews are helpful as well. My two versus videos (Product A vs Product B) on my channel are some of my top viewed videos, and they continue getting views. I think before people buy a product, many times, they want to compare it with at least one other product to make sure they're making the right decision.

  3. Thanks Salma for kicking the sleepy dog awake, I will now definitely be looking around for a product to review. Maybe chocolates? I know a LOT about this product…

  4. Oh my gosh, Salma!!!! I’m so honored by you in this moment, I’m moved to tears! I started shouting “OMG OMG OMG” from the kitchen and my husband started running in! 😂During our morning walk just a couple hours ago, I told him that it’s Tuesday and Salma Jafri will be posting her video for the week, I wonder what it’s going to be… And I’ve been listening to and taking screenshots of this video and now to be mentioned by you, my teacher and friend across land and sea, I bow to you… To be your first, as you launch this new feature, I am deeply honored. I thought I would be speechless LOL but I’m never speechless. 😂 Thank you and I send you so many blessings into your day, have a beautiful Tuesday! 😊🙏❤️😘👸🏼
